And we are off! Our 11U team kicked off the action last night! The Mystic All Stars 11U Surged Past Montville/Bozrah Thanks To A Big Fifth Inning
Mystic All Stars 11U defeated Montville/Bozrah 12-2 on Sunday thanks in part to seven runs in the fifth inning. Beau Doyle singled, scoring one run, Cormac McDuffe tripled, scoring two runs, Declan Cawley drew a walk, scoring one run, Caleb Lafreniere singled, scoring one run, and Callan Kendrick doubled, scoring two runs.
Mystic All Stars 11U jumped into the lead in the bottom of the second when Cruz Speed singled, scoring one run, Cameron Lelek singled, scoring one run, and Declan Bolduc doubled, scoring two runs.
A single by Caleb Lafreniere extended the Mystic All Stars 11U lead to 5-1 in the bottom of the third inning.
Declan Cawley earned the win for Mystic All Stars 11U. The starter gave up four hits and two runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking three. Cameron Lelek appeared in relief for Mystic All Stars 11U.
Mystic All Stars 11U piled up 11 hits in the game. Declan Bolduc and Caleb Lafreniere each collected two hits for Mystic All Stars 11U. Declan Bolduc, Callan Kendrick, Caleb Lafreniere and Cormac McDuffee each drove in two runs for Mystic All Stars 11U. Declan Cawley stole two bases. Some even got some Dairy Queen after the game!
